Love Doesn’t End on February 14th

Valentine’s Day may be over, but love is not limited to one day on the calendar. For the children we serve, steady care, attention, and love matter every single day of the year.

On National Random Acts of Kindness Day, we are reminded that kindness is one of the most powerful ways love shows up. For a child experiencing homelessness or foster care, what may seem small — new clothes after an emergency placement, a safe place to sleep, or help covering a basic need — can bring comfort, hope, and the reassurance that they are cared for. Small things are not small when love is behind them.

At HARK, that love often happens quietly, behind the scenes, so children can feel safe, supported, and valued when they need it most.

You can share love today through a simple act of kindness: learning, sharing, or supporting organizations that serve vulnerable children.

Love does not end on February 14. It lives on in every thoughtful action that reminds vulnerable children they are seen, supported, and never alone.
